"Lub d", which in Thai means "good sleeping", is a leading hostel in Thailand founded in 2007. It is now have two branches, Lub d Silom and Lub d Siam Square, both are located in the center part of Bangkok.
Lub d Silom, the first branch, since the business opened in January 2008, has been one of the leading hostels in Thailand and in Asia then.In 2008, Lub d Silom has been selected by the Guardian newspaper as one of the 17 coolest hostels in the world to hang out. Giving the success of its Silom branch, Lub d opened its second branch, Lub d Siam Square, in the middle of 2010 (July).
As the name indicated, Lub d Siam Square is located right in the very center of Bangkok--Siam Square--where there are full of shopping centers, shops, restaurants, and many local attractions.
The area is the most vibrant area of Bangkok. The hostel is also located right at the sky train station which is the most convenient public transportation system that not only connected to the important commercial and residential areas of inner Bangkok,
but also connected to the airport rail link that will make the transportation from the airport to the hostel easy. Last year, Lub d Siam Square has won the Thailand Boutique Hotel award which is the most prestige award for the hotel in Thailand. And this year, the award went to Lub d Silom.

To be more specific, both Lub d branches were designed by the leading design companies in Thailand; P49 (for Lub d Silom) and designLAB (for Lub d Siam Square).The guidelines given to the design companies were thoroughly thought out as one will see on many innovative ideas presented in our facilities such as the utility station on each bed in the dormitory room which comprises a small box to put your mobile phone or iPod,At Siam Square branch, we also redesigned our bunk bed in the way that enhances the stability of the bunk bed.

The hostels are super clean. The security of the hostels are at the highest standard with the fire exist well over the legal requirements and the access of the hostel is controlled by electronic devices with security camera in all important areas. We really want to push the security standard in this segment, especially in Thailand. The hostels also provide many facilities that support the explorative travelling lifestyle such as free left luggage facility, big-screen TV room, free internet area, free WIFI, social area with bar, 24-hour reception desk and assistance and laundry facility.

We also organize various activities that aim not only to entertain guests but also to connect them together. Our activities are mostly based on local subjects and on something that unique such as local whiskey (Yadong) party, local food experience, local club crawl, and activities related to local annual ceremony. Lub d Silom is known for a fun "water splashing" party during Thailand's Songkran holidays as we provided a big tank of water in front of our hostels for our guests to enjoy splashing water with the locals.
